Studio 71 opened its doors in August 2021 — wood paneling, vinyl records, and groovy 1970s decor fully intact. Founder Nicole Lichtinger traded a marketing career for her passion in blonding, and grew a single chair into one of Erie's most beloved salons.
Known as Erie's “Healthy Hair Expert,”Nicole built the whole studio around hair and scalp health — then added lash & brow artistry and the city's first organic sugaring. It's less a salon, more a community hub where beauty and nostalgia meet.
